What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping, Receiving, and Purchasing Clerk position at Casey Printing?

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process our orders for shipping using our company’s order processing system.
  • Ensure that all required documentation, such as packing lists and shipping labels, is prepared accurately.
  • Coordinate with our front office team and operations team to make sure our product arrives within established timelines.
  • Assist in ordering supplies needed. Create purchase orders and reconcile receiving using our system software.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and stock availability.
  • Collaborate with our front office team with purchasing in a timely manner to meet our order requirements and manufacturing needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and update our inventory management system accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively and support our front office team and operations team.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in order processing, inventory management, or related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
  • Familiarity with order processing and inventory management systems a plus.
  • Be “computer literate.” We prefer someone proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • A background in commercial printing would be ideal, however we will train the right person.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
