Loan Support Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loan Specialist to join our team. As a Loan Specialist, you will be responsible for loan document preparation, data entry and loan funding for all branches. Provide additional support to branch Loan CSR's and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in financial services and loan processing.

Duties:
- Prepare all preliminary loan application disclosures to meet regulatory compliance requirements. Prepare all loan documents in accordance with all consumer compliance and banking regulations as well as the bank's internal procedures.

- Review loan document request form for completeness of required information and proper lending authority limits.

- Review loan documents for accuracy before final printing at branch. Perform data entry for all new loans as well as file maintenance as required for all existing loans.

- Perform required loan and general ledger reconciliations on a monthly basis. Review daily computer reports for accuracy of data input.

- Provide additional support to Loan CSR's for assistance and problem resolution with loans. Ability to travel and provide the necessary Loan CSR coverage at the Bank's various branches at management's discretion.

- Disburse loan funds subject to compliance regulations and internal procedures.

-Develop knowledge of data entry for new loans and a clear understanding of the banks computer software for the lending program.
- Collaborate with loan officers to gather additional information or resolve any discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:
- Previous experience in financial services or loan processing is preferred
- Strong math skills, including basic math calculations and 10-key typing proficiency
- Knowledge of credit analysis and underwriting principles
- Familiarity with loan origination software and systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
