Core Work Activities
Caspian Management is looking for an assistant property manager to join our team. The role of the property manager includes:
- Coordinate with the property manager and brokerage team to assist with leasing efforts
- Respond to the needs of the tenants, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner
- Collect rent and lease payments in accordance to lease terms
- Interact regularly with tenants of assigned properties to maintain healthy rapport
- Assist the property manager in the management of the maintenance staff to ensure that all properties are maintained at the highest level, tenants requested services are met, work orders are completed and preventative maintenance is upkept.
- Perform regular assigned inspections of properties
- Analyze lease agreements regularly and ensure documents are kept up-to-date.
- Establish and development business relationships through community involvement
Education and Experience
- 2 years of commercial real estate experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Required Skills and Abilities
- Effective communication skills- written, verbal and presentation.
- Strong organization, time management and analytical skills
- Have incredible attention to detail
- Self-starter, able to take direction, but confident in own decision-making.
- Builds and leverages relationships, using a strong network of partnerships across the organization to drive deliverables to closure.
- Disciplined in work efforts with a demonstrated pride for a job well done
Physical Activities and Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Requires periods of walking, standing, communicating, reaching, crouching and climbing ladders.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.
- Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.
- Travel- 10% of the time for property tours, leasing appointments and move out inspections
