Join our team at Allina Health Restorative Suites , a state-of-the-art 50-bed transitional and restorative care campus in Plymouth, MN as a Part-Time Cook! In this role, you will serve our residents, employees, and family members' meals.
Your passion for cooking nutritious and appetizing meals will be highly valued by our residents. Training will be provided.
This is a Part-Time , benefit eligible position working 32 hours per every 2 weeks (2 days a week) from 11 : 00am to 7 : 30pm.
Possible Shift Days : Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

What does a Cook do?
- Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
- Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. This will also include feature / specials and grill service.
- Inspect kitchen for conformance to government and company safety and sanitation requirements.
- Review planned meals and take note of special diet requests.
- Observe and report on low stock or high-demand choices.
- Assist in orders and schedules delivery of food and supplies from local vendors.
- Observe and report on resident change of condition or changes in ability.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
What does a Cook require?
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
