What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Millwork position at Castaldi Custom?
The Millwork Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects within the organization.
Duties include, but may not be limited to:
- Developing project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables and drive the team to achieve the required customer needs.
- Creating and managing project schedules, driving timely completion of tasks.
- Managing project budgets and ensuring adherence to financial constraints to verify installation progress and provide direction and/or resources when needed.
- Constantly interact with customers to understand project needs and communicate internal progress and timelines.
- Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Coordinating project resources, including team members, vendors, and stakeholders
- Monitoring project progress by visiting construction sites in AZ and provide daily status updates to key stakeholders
- Conducting meetings and facilitating discussions to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Implementing change management processes to address project scope changes
- Evaluating project outcomes and identifying areas for improvement
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Experience communicating effectively with commercial general contractors. (5 years minimum).
- Ability to be very organized and manage several projects.
- Proven experience in project management in commercial millwork environment, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget (5 years minimum).
- Familiarity with content management systems and project management software.
- Strong program development skills, with the ability to effectively plan and execute complex projects
- Experience in negotiation techniques
- Understanding of change management principles and practices
- Understanding of Architectural Millwork industry (design, construction and installation of cabinets, reception desks, wall panels and custom wood items) (10 years minimum).
- Experience with cabinet vision and alpha cam will be a plus
- Must have a valid Driver's License
Schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Annual salary 60-65k, with the possibility of quarterly bonuses!!
