JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Budget Analyst will be responsible for examining budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. This role requires extensive experience in budget analysis, financial planning, and execution within various financial systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced financial software proficiency, and a strong attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
- Analyze budgeting and accounting reports to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Provide expert analysis and recommendations on budgetary matters to senior management.
- Ensure effective planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) process adherence.
- Utilize financial systems such as N-ERP, CSPT, and PBIS to manage and execute budget plans.
- Collaborate with other financial analysts and departments to consolidate budget reports and data.
- Prepare detailed reports on budget performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of budgeting policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Monitor and control the allocation of financial resources to achieve organizational objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications include:
- Active Secret Clearance
- MA/MS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Over ten (10) years of experience in budget analysis and financial planning.
