A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Reimbursement, RCM Support Supervisor
The RCM Support Supervisor will oversee and provide support for database maintenance and upgrades, ensuring thorough testing and validation of data and outcomes to maintain system continuity.
Additionally, they will collaborate with internal and external partners to design workflows, analyze processes, and provide recommendations for improvement.
The primary focus of this role will be on developing and maintaining our revenue cycle systems, managing payer enrollment, and designing and implementing reports within our laboratory billing and reimbursement department.
This will involve close collaboration with our IT department, reimbursement management team, and external vendors.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required, and / or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- At least 3 years in revenue cycle billing system configuration, maintenance, and system testing and documentation.
- At least 3 years of successfully managing processes and people.
- Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.
- Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of insurance billing requirements and revenue cycle workflow preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
- Self-starter and self-learner with minimal supervision.
- Team player with a positive attitude who is able and willing to help others.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
10 - 20% as needed for training and meetings.
