Location: Centralia, IL 62801:
Job Summary:
- The Assistant to the Director of Events works with the Director of Events to make sure that all events and activities leading up to it are executed according to plan
- The role includes attending meetings, working with vendors, managing timelines and assisting with overcoming any last-minute challenges that arise during the event
- Conduct tours for prospective clients
- Attend any final meetings scheduled with client and document any changes
- Attend and assist with coordinating pre-event activities such as rehearsals
- Attend event from the first formality to the last
- Set up detailed schedule for event, rehearsal, ceremony and reception
- Understand, document and provide instruction for set up of rooms
- Assist with order of event/ceremony with client/officiant
- Assist the Event Director on setup of the Green Room, Bridal Suite and Grooms Space
- Coordinate with the Event Director on tending to Client, Bride, Groom, Bridal Party and immediate family day of the event
- Work with Event Director on event timeline and staffing plan
- Report directly to the Director of Events
