Description: We have an exciting position open within Caterpillar as the Motor Grader Products Finance Director for the Earthmoving Division, a multi-billion dollar division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Motor Grader Products Strategy, influencing and recommending the right business decisions, and managing the overall business financial performance and growth. This position interacts with and presents to division senior leadership, including the Motor Grader Products Vice President and respective team, the Division CFO, as well as the many internal customers within Caterpillar. Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Manage all aspects of financial analysis and reporting for the Earthmoving Motor Grader Business, including the Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet statements. Provide insights on the financial results of the business on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Implement new tools and analytics to continuously improve the financial analysis and business insights. Support and manage the Earthmoving Motor Grader Business to achieve the annual business plan targets. Support the Earthmoving Motor Grader Business Strategy Planning, that includes the long-term strategic development and short-term tactical planning to ensure growth and financial success for the business. Guide the Earthmoving Motor Grader Business Analysis, providing business insights in the processes like target costs; cost monitoring; new product introduction analysis; total cost of ownership analysis; investment analysis; financial leadership on mergers and acquisitions. All analysis should consider both perspectives: enterprise and accountable. Responsible for the analytics based forward-looking outlook for the business (including the product cost monitoring, financial reporting, etc.), and offer insights about actions the business should take to respond to the outlook. Implement new tools and analytics to continuously improve the financial forecast and cost monitoring processes and forward-looking business insights. Drive effective and strong coordination with partners across the business. Strategic thought partner with the Earthmoving Motor Grader team to improve business financial results. Effectively lead, influence, and interact with a global and diverse team. Focused on talent development, succession planning, performance management, and target setting.
