The Cat Digital Dealer Training & Communications Team is dedicated to improving the dealer learning experience. We seek a talented, experienced professional to help manage the strategy, design and implementation of multi-platform training related to our digital products and services. Employing technology-forward, best-in-class adult learning principles, the position will help identify the specific training needs of targeted dealer audiences and define appropriate corresponding curricula, content and delivery methods. Responsibilities Implement training programs and achieve dealer learning goals through efficient use of resources, working with internal and external training development vendors and technology solutions. Help design programs and curricula for digital product training and development initiatives designed for a variety of dealer audiences. Evaluate existing curriculum or learning solutions and recommend appropriate approaches for improving the quality, cost and value of development programs. Support the launch of a comprehensive, simple-to-use Cat Digital Dealer Training Hub and corresponding Metrics Dashboard by helping define, collect and manage all content needed. Help establish, analyze and communicate progress toward associated learning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Maintain processes for assessing and reviewing changing business needs for dealer training and digital skill building, collaborating with internal business partners and employing Voice of Dealer (VOD) feedback. Skill Descriptors Ability to assess the level and depth of digital product knowledge of dealers and customers, and design training solutions to match. Experienced in defining instructional goals, performance objectives, and topics while identifying appropriate delivery platform. Implements adjustments to training in light of audience feedback. Defines key learning objectives for training sessions. Monitors training solution development in all phases of the training life cycle. Analyzes successful examples of training solutions development. The Ideal Candidate May Possess the Following Skills and Experiences: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience desired Corporate training, learning or communications experience Experience working with Cat dealers or customers, or working in a dealer-matrixed environment Demonstrated knowledge of best-in-class training and adult learning practices/tools Experience creating dealer / customer personas Experience with Generative AI, such as chatbots, in a training, communications, or customer service context Excellent writing and storytelling skills Experience managing/maintaining Power BI dashboards or other analytics tools Experience creating and updating resource pages and training hubs Highly proficient with Office 365 applications such as SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel Website content management experience Experience in collecting Voice of Customer / Voice of Business / Voice of Dealer feedback and using results to drive process improvements Customer Experience (CX) Champion Experience with the technical design of training course content Experience delivering training content and collecting actionable feedback Experience creating or executing training certification programs Known as a trusted business partner, highly skilled at relationship building, persuasion and influence, data analysis and taking action to drive results Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
