Senior Engineer - Design & Development

Career Area: Engineering Job Description: If you like being on the forefront of product development and innovation, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Design & Development Engineer supporting the Medium Wheel Loader Product Group. You will focus on the design and development for engine installation and cooling systems to ensure that our construction products provide top performance, durability, quality, and serviceability. This position will have design control responsibility for the engine installation and cooling systems on existing 950 – 982 models as well as developing new concepts and systems for new product programs. Option for hybrid work environment (remote and on site). Must be available to work on site when necessary. Specifically, in this exciting career opportunity, you can expect to: Conceive and provide practical engine installation and cooling design applications using complex technical concepts. Prepare concept, design, development, and feasibility studies for complex engineering projects. Collaborate in the design, analysis, and computer simulation efforts. Conduct technical evaluations of major systems on similar industry products. Organize product tests for prove design and prototype builds. Evaluate, define, and resolve design and manufacturing issues.   To be successful you must bring (Basic Qualifications): A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or similar Engineering curriculum. At least 5 years’ experience in product design and development.  Top Candidates will also have (desired qualifications): Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or similar Engineering curriculum. CAD design experience Experience with TeamCenter or similar tools. Cooling system design experience. Experience with FEA This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
