Visit cat.com to learn more about Cat Financial. JOB SUMMARY: Provide expertise in the development and technical support of the Cloud EPM technology suite. Identify and apply systems solutions to business/technical problems through customer interactions, solution and design of complex implementation projects. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities vary, but may include various combinations of the following duties. Provides technical systems leadership, including problem identification and resolution, integration of technical solutions. Provides technical administration and development of core Oracle EPM products including integrations using DM and automation via EPM Automate. Leads and mentors on established development and support processes, including but not limited to, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the Agile methodology, and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM). Leads discussion with business partners to gather requirements for technical solutions and troubleshoots system related issues. Provides demonstrated leadership to projects and support, including task planning and execution and delivery of commitments. Leads multiple projects with varying level of complexity that may span multiple functional areas. Works within objectives and instructions from systems staff for use in designing, testing and documentation. Identifies and works to automate tasks and processes with scripting and automation tools. Meets the quality standards set forth by management. Stays current with industry trends and technologies (e.g. certifications, industry groups, etc.). Leads implementation of enterprise security standards into the Cloud EPM suite of applications. Reviews monthly cloud releases, prepares and executes required testing in a non-production environment, and provides recommendations for enhancements using new features. Architects and designs technical solutions to meet business objectives. Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Progress toward accomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them. Supports technical issue resolution in co-ordination with the functional administrator and Oracle Support as needed. Understands the Harassment policy of the company and is responsible for its application in all aspects of employment. JOB REQUIREMENTS: SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and work independently or as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to communicate future direction with leadership. Strong knowledge of the Cloud EPM suite of applications (FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS, EPBCS) and EDMCS and their relationship to systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Expert knowledge and ability to independently apply SDLC, ITSM or Agile related methodologies. Strong ability and willingness to learn new technologies. Demonstrated ability to design and develop technical systems strategy for finance business procedures and operations. Expert ability to troubleshoot and recommend process changes that improve the overall implementation, maintenance and support of applications and/or technical infrastructure. Strong working ability to independently manage multiple complex tasks and participate on multiple projects. Strong knowledge of and ability to apply basic math and data analysis skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A 4-year college or university degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7-9 years of enterprise technology experience is recommended. Strong candidates will also have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience implementing EPM technologies that include, but not limited to – account reconciliations, financial close/consolidations, allocations, planning, budgeting & forecasting. .
