The Manager, Training is responsible for leading the site Training Team and Programs. Training will consist of Operations, Quality, Research and Laboratory training. This position is responsible for leading and organizing training capabilities across site operations by delivering technical training onboarding programs and continuous technical skills learning.

The role:
- Provide technical advice, organize, plan, direct and manage technical training staff to ensure that goals and objectives of the technical training programs are successfully achieved. Understand and monitor all aspects of technical training to ensure quality and consistency.
- Design, develop, and facilitate a wide variety of blended learning solutions (ILT, VR, and eLearning) to ensure the Technical Training Team offers scalable and accessible programs.
- Analyze and select effective delivery methods based on topic, audience and intended outcomes. Evolve existing content to ensure that it remains relevant within our industry.
- Lead high quality and impactful learning content that supports our changing and growing organization, both in onboarding and continuous learning.
- Apply data collection methods, analysis and target metrics to evaluate effectiveness of programs and learning solutions to drive program improvements and strategic results.
- Coordinate and partner with leadership and subject matter experts in the design and delivery of the technical training program content.
The candidate:
- BA/MS degree in a relevant field
- 8 years of training experience: including but not limited to training leadership, curriculum/content development, and deployment of training.
- Experience in Pharma/Biotech or other cGMP environment preferred
- Prior experience in manufacturing, quality, or technical area preferred
- Knowledge of GMP’s, FDA regulations and documentation procedures
- Experience in learning management systems
- Experience developing, evaluating, facilitating, maintaining and improving training courses and/or programs.
- Experience identifying training requirements and curriculum based on the analysis of user needs.
- Experience developing innovative training courses, templates, presentations, videos, interactives, and case studies.
