Summary
The Manufacturing Scheduler reports to the Director of Supply Chain. The successful candidate will interact with manufacturing leadership to ensure an accurate weekly manufacturing schedule by driving the necessary timeline/deadline for completion. Additionally, schedules for client needs will need to be generated, sometimes on demand

The Role
- A Generate and maintain comprehensive manufacturing schedule for biologic drug manufacturing processes including upstream, downstream, fill-finish and central services activities. Schedule is maintained using Microsoft Project however.
- Interact with leaders from each of the process areas to receive scheduling inputs via email. The data used for the schedule will transition to ERP system.
- Investigate gaps in data received from the process leaders for inconsistencies ensuring an accurate comprehensive schedule.
- Create client facing schedules that are accurate and consistent with formatting requirements
- Update schedule with real time updates daily and weekly
- Collaborate with functional leadership outside of GMP Manufacturing to schedule the manufacturing areas for cleaning, shutdown, repairs, maintenance, calibrations, etc...
- Complete tasks associated to project preparedness for each new project
- Order materials, ensure the proper materials are on hand for each project
The Candidate
- HS Diploma/GED and 7 years experience in a biologic manufacturing role (Associates and 5 years experience or Bachelor degree and 3 years experience)
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Project required; ERP preferred
- High degree of customer services and collaborative skills
- Demonstrated experience meeting and driving deadlines through the results of others
