Sampling Technician I Position Overview The Sampling Technician I is an entry level position that requires the ability to perform job duties and functions in a GMP environment under general supervision within sample management. Sample management support from external customers or internal departments centered around stability, reference standards, DEA control substances and sample logistics. The Role Follows all regulatory guidelines, cGMP guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations as required by the job function Assist with the storage of samples in appropriate chamber conditions in accordance with internal procedures and signed frameworks Assist in the removal of required number of samples as specified or requested, with appropriate documentation completed to assure chain of custody to and from stability group to laboratory group or client Assist with the DEA process of controlled substances including potential keyholder status for sample and reference standards that would include initial/final counts and reconciliation Maintain accurate, well-kept notebooks and electronic copies for the reference standard CofA’s Assist with the inventory for all reference standards and ensures that each are labeled appropriately Ensures that all satellite locations for reference standards are well kept and maintained Supports the sample management processes such as sample destruction and sample management inventory in accordance with appropriate procedures Proficient at using software to support stability job duties and functions Other duties as assigned The Candidate Associate degree in science or technology related discipline or High School diploma with a minimum of one year of applicable experience Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Position Benefits Spearhead exciting and innovative projects Fast-paced, dynamic environment High visibility to members at all levels of the organization 152 hours of PTO 8 paid holidays Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
