Occupational Therapist
Job Posting for Occupational Therapist at Catalina Island Medical Center
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. You will assess patients' needs, develop treatment plans, and help them achieve their goals through therapeutic activities and exercises.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their needs and goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Implement treatment plans through therapeutic activities and exercises.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Maintain a positive and caring atmosphere for patients, families, and co-workers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- At least two years clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- CPR Certification
- Current California license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
