The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Analyst to join our Finance team in our Alpharetta, GA office. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of revenue recognition principles, and experience working with software revenue models. This role will be responsible for analyzing revenue data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
What You Will Do
- Analyze software revenue data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Monitor and reconcile revenue transactions to ensure proper recognition and reporting
- MoM revenue variance analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Product Development, to review and evaluate revenue contracts and agreements
- Prepare revenue forecasts, variance analysis, and other financial reports to support business planning and decision-making processes
- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices related to software revenue recognition and provide recommendations for compliance
- Project Billing (Short Term)
- Bill all purely NRR project activity (Implementation Milestones, T&M Billing, Prof Services Billing, etc.)
What You Will Need to Succeed
- 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience with exposure to ASC 606
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel or other data manipulation platform (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Keen interest and experience with process improvement
- Hands on exposure to ERP software, Netsuite preferred
