Job Posting for User Experience Manager - UX/UI Lead at Catalyst
Summary
Catalyst is seeking an UX/UI expert with strong, hands-on digital production experience to help us create an intuitive, customer-centric website. This new role of UX/UI Manager will report to the Senior Digital Director and will serve as Catalyst’s expert on UX/UI. The UX/UI manager will iteratively improve the usability of the site with the goal of increasing Supporter engagement and furthering our organization objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop digital experiences and web products that increase user engagement and support Catalyst programs and organizational objectives:
Take a user-centered design approach to translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and sitemaps that produce intuitive user experiences.
Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
Define digital objectives, requirements, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and milestones.
Work with team leads (design, editorial and operations), internal clients, and external vendors to develop project plans for digital deliverables.
Manage review and approval cycle with stakeholders across the organization.
Ensure that projects are completed on budget and on time.
Ensure that the Catalyst website (catalyst.org) has a best-in-class user experience and adheres to accessibility guidelines. Review content against AA accessibility standards.
Conduct A/B and usability testing; set up, QA, launch, and monitor website optimization tests using Google Optimize.
Provide thought leadership and advance digital upskilling within creative team.
Additional Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders and collaborate with team members across the organization to manage and execute daily updates to the website.
Review, test, approve and publish new pages.
Required Knowledge and Skills
5 years' experience in UX/UI design, production, and development.
Website usability standards and best practices for optimization
Experience with Figma, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience interpreting data and incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders
Experience managing vendors to deliver digital products and new features.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience managing a Wordpress site;
HTML and CSS
Understanding of website and email analytics, how to benchmark KPIs and interpret engagement data.
Experience with Google Analytics
