As a 6 Sigma Black Belt in the Parts Distribution group, you will be responsible for project management, change management and implementing people, process, and PQVC (People Quality Velocity Cost) improvements. As a result of leading projects and implementing improvements this position will increase efficiency, quality, and culture within our operations team. Typical job responsibilities include:
- Managing the operations process improvement list and working with operations execute the project plan
- Working with PSLD distribution facilities to ensure Root Cause Corrective Action is properly completed and responses communicated to necessary groups
- People Focus: professional development, training in simulated work environment, mentoring, and supporting the members of the operations team
- Change Management: Rapid Improvement Workshops, process improvement implementations for new and current systems (i.e.Autostore)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an Engineering, Business or Technical field, in lieu a degree a total of 5 years of job-related experience would be required.
- 3 years of job-related experience
- Must have project management skills, team leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.
Top Candidates Will Also Have
- Prior leadership experience is a plus.
- Should have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Accounting, Human Resources, and Operations.
- Must have the ability to learn and do statistical analysis and have basic computer skills.
