Career Area: Manufacturing & Supply Chain Job Description: Benefits Information: $1,000 sign on bonus, split into two separate payments of $500 each. First pay out after 30 days of employment and second payout after 90 days of employment. Retention bonus opportunities as well. The payout of both the sign on bonus and retention bonus will be based on acceptable performance and attendance This is a regular position located at the Solar manufacturing facility located in Channelview, TX No relocation package is available Health, dental, vision, FMLA, 401K, vacation & basic life insurance offered on day 1 of employment Potential base salary increases from annual performance reviews Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Comply with all of TurboFab’s Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and Guidelines. Check own work for compliance to specifications. Use all necessary equipment and tools required to perform work. Ensure that procedures have been followed and quality has not been compromised. Must keep all areas clean and orderly; and comply with TurboFab’s housekeeping procedures. Interface with outside inspectors. Assist in the training of other less experienced Hydro Testers, as required. Must follow the Hydrostatic testing procedures. Must ensure complete and correct set up of the system to be tested. Must produce and verify accuracy of test charts and other documentation. Required Qualifications: This position is for fully competent and qualified employee with one to five years of experience in the area of Hydro testing and requires minimal supervision to perform the job. Must exhibit the skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner. Must be able to read and understand test documents. Must possess the working knowledge of dead weight readers, chart recorders, and reading flow charts, pipe & ISO drawings. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to work well with others. Must have basic knowledge of computer use. Must be knowledgeable in the use of torque tools and must have the ability to read and understand the torque value chart. Must have full understanding and knowledge of the stored energy used during a Hydro Test. Emphasizing the need for safety of the test crew and personnel in the area.
