Job Summary To serve as an experienced, individual contributor on projects and assignments as an Engineering/Technology Project Team Leader who has responsibility for leading cost reduction activities and initiatives for Gas Component and Structures design controls. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: This individual provides key leadership for the teams to identify, coordinate and execute material cost reduction projects Facilitate control meetings, and serve as the cost lead for the organization Assist in idea analysis and generation of new ideas Lead global teams in idea generation workshops / design of new products, processes, components, and systems Good business acumen and the ability to effectively collaborate with suppliers and Component owners Analyze data out of CICT, DMCR, Tableau and Power BI to generate reports Support monthly cost reduction and SteerCo meetings to effectively communicate results and LOS on cost reduction activities and goals Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum 5 years minimum work experience on the design and development, supply chain, buyer, purchasing or manufacture of engine components and systems Strong analytical & problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Strong initiative and follow through Strong communications skills Proven team leadership skills Top Candidate will also have: Ability to work complex projects with many collaborators Passion to innovate, inspire, and grow professionally Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Team leadership skills, cultural sensitivity, global perspective, cost-value awareness, and enterprise level thinking Strong oral and written communication skills Good interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills Experience using CICT, LOGNET, APQP and Purchasing Analytics Data analysis using Excel Pivot Tables, Tableau or Power BI Cost Reduction project experience Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects or initiatives Good collaboration and team leadership experience Additional Information: This position can be located in Lafayette, IN or Mossville, IL. Up to 20% Travel. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
