Director of Facilities

We are currently hiring a Director of Facilities, to work in our Catholic Charities Disabilities Services agency. As the Director of Facilities, you would be responsible for:

• Supervises and ensures compliance with all aspects of safety, health and emergency procedures; keeps appropriate records; and follows all applicable state and federal regulations
• Ensures that properties, equipment and vehicles are maintained, inspected and repaired as necessary to protect the safety and quality of life for individuals and staff
• Maintains an effective and efficient maintenance request system; prioritizes assignments from the list and physically assists as necessary and feasible in completing the projects
• Responds to crisis that arise during and after normal work hours by establishing and supervising an on-call system for 24/7 response and attention to maintenance problems

Director of Facilities Minimum Salary: $29.71 Hourly

Director of Facilities Maximum Salary: $29.71 Hourly

Director of Facilities Schedule: M-F, 7:30am-4:00pm *additional hours may be required in cases of emergency such as a snowstorm*

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years’ experience as a superior in facilities or maintenance required
• Valid NYS Driver’s License
• Competency in basic areas of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Knowledge of building maintenance or construction, including painting or patching
• Knowledge of Environmental Modifications (EMODS) is a plus
• Knowledge of OPWDD & DOH is preferred
