Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a Administrative Assistant within Carroll County Head Start.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensures the implementation of program goals and objectives that are consistent with Head Start Performance Standards and Catholic Charities mission, vision & values. Actively creates and supports a climate of participation for staff, family and community members.
- Models respect and appreciation and creates a welcoming, supportive environment for all. Interactions with children, coworkers and parents/caregivers should model and demonstrate positive guidance and collaboration.

Establishes and maintains productive, collaborative relationships within and outside the program using effective
communication skills and treating everyone with respect and dignity. Facilitates resolution of conflicts or disputes, among
staff, families and or community members. -
Assists in the development of a disabilities service plan providing strategies for the recruitment and enrollment of
children with diagnosed or suspected disabilities and for meeting the special needs of these children and their
parents/caregivers. -
Participates in outreach and recruitment activities to locate children with disabilities, including those with severe
disabilities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in one of the human service fields, experience securing and individualizing needed services for children with
disabilities and a willingness to continue training
