Job Type: Part-Time
Salary Range: $14/hr
Location: 247 W Prairie Ave. Decatur, IL 62523
Job Summary:
Deliver meals to clients for both out of town and in town routes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Pick up delivery vehicle for designated route.
- Pick up route sheet and carriers at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
- Deliver meals according to route sheet instructions.
- Listen to clients.
- List any problems, comments or observations about clients and report to MOW Coordinator.
- Report immediate problems (apparent client illness or absence) to MOW Coordinator.
- Report sickness or unavailability to deliver meals as scheduled to MOW Coordinator.
- Assist client with opening containers, as directed.
- Have CCP clients sign monthly calendar as needed.
- Return carrier and clipboard to Decatur Memorial Hospital.
- Return MOW delivery vehicle to the designated parking area.
- Maintain gas and oil in MOW delivery vehicle.
- Maintain routine maintenance and document scheduled maintenance appointments.
- Report any problems with MOW vehicle to MOW Coordinator.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Education and Experience:
- High School or General Education Degree
- Valid drivers license with the ability to drive agency vehicle responsibly and safe.
- Driving imperative position requires meeting all criteria set forth by our auto insurance carrier.
- Ability to accept instructions and make productive use of time.
- Initiative, maturity and flexibility.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of position
