Catholic Community Service and Southeast Senior Services is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Nutrition and Transportation Services in Angoon, Craig/Klawock, Haines, Hoonah, Kake, Skagway, and Wrangell.
Job duties include supervision (hiring, training, evaluating) of Site Manager and indirect supervision of site staff, ensuring all staff have certifications and credentials needed for their positions; reviewing and approving staff timecards; review and analysis of weekly and monthly reports, supply requests, ordering; reviewing and following budgets; and conducting overall annual site evaluations. This position will also be involved with the Southeast Regional Eldercare Coalition (SREC) including monitoring and evaluating SREC outreach and activities, and documenting project efforts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to supervise staff and work cooperatively with others; excellent communication skills both written and oral; ability to work effectively with older people sensitivity to diversity of culture and lifestyle in rural Southeast communities; ability to function independently; ability to develop and implement grant programs and services; Knowledge of basic office procedures; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; effective time and work management skills; strong organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Four years’ experience in social service work; willingness to travel to Southeast communities on a regular basis. Two years supervisory experience required. Background check required.
This position is Full Time, 37.5 hours/week. Beginning wage is $32/hour.
