Job Posting for Fourth Grade Teacher at Catholic Diocese of Lansing
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish School is a culturally diverse and mission focused pre-k to 8th grade school conveniently and centrally located in Lansing, Michigan.We are accepting applications for a full time Fourth Grade Teacher position starting in January, 2023. The position is regularly under a year to year contract from July 1 through June 30 annually, is full time, and pays a salary that commensurates with experience and credentials. Eligibility for health, dental and vision insurance, retirement benefits and disability insurance are included with this position.
Successful candidates must hold a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate with endorsements in elementary education, have a high degree of skill/experience in literacy and mathematical instruction, must pass a criminal background check, and must complete the Protecting God’s Children (Virtus) program. Preference is given to practicing Catholics. The ideal candidate models faith-based practices, integrates faith in each subject, implements differentiated instruction, strives to promote the mission of the parish school, and possesses the ability to relate positively with students, parents, and other teachers.
