Clinical Responsibilities:
Supervision of all staff : FTE, Part time and Per diem technologists, scheduling and performance.
Perform and train staff technologists on all current research and clinical protocols and the ability to adjust and modify these protocols to suit the individual.
Troubleshoot scanner issues and contact appropriate personnel.
Perform monthly QA for clinical scans
Demonstrate a clear understanding of cardiac disease imaging requirements.
Perform and train staff technologists on routine radiology scans including MRI of body, neuro and musculoskeletal and MR angiogram.
Work with the Principal Investigators to develop protocols, sequences and procedures for new and current research studies.
Knowledge of and train staff technologists on current data processing software.
Maintain and supervise the operation of peripheral research devices ie: flow phantom, MRI bike.
Develop and present imaging lectures for the new research MD fellows.
Instruct the research MD fellows in the operation of MRI scanners to produce cardiac MRI.
Education Requirements:
1) NYS RT license
2) ARRT certification
3) AAS minimum BA/BS preferred
