What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook cook position at Catholic Health?
DUTIES : Directs, engages in, and is responsible for the preparation and serving of food as specified for patients and special functions.
Sets up, breaks down, and restocks work area. Coordinates work schedule with meal schedule. QUALIFICATIONS : High school graduate or GED equivalency required.
90 hour course or equivalent education preferred. 2 years institution or quantity cooking experience required. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time as well as work over hot stove / ovens.
Must be able to lift heavy pots and equipment of 50 to 130 lbs.
