PI Analyst - Quality

The PI Analyst prepares departmental reports as they relate to PI activities.
Responsibilities:
- Produces and distributes reports from diverse software systems using pivot tables, graphs and formula driven spreadsheets in Excel
- Collects and analyzes audit-related data resulting from regulatory surveys and the Performance Improvement Committee reporting for the hospital
- Data entry for PI activities and NYS databases as well as various registries.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the chart abstraction process
- Ensures quality data are ready for harvest on a timely basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Healthcare or related field, required.
- Sound knowledge in the use of computers and software for Windows, MS office including Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of statistical programs and database systems preferred Experience in health care setting preferred.
