Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education and a commitment to fostering creativity and artistic skills in students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging art lessons that align with curriculum standards
- Teach students various art techniques and mediums
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their artwork
- Manage art supplies and maintain an organized and inspiring classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across different subject areas
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field
- Previous experience teaching art to students of varying ages
- Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and mediums
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Ability to plan lessons effectively and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment practices
- Experience working with students on literacy education
- Proficiency in subjects such as Trigonometry, Algebra, and Education Administration
- Knowledge of the Chicago Manual Style for academic writing
