Job Posting for BIM Specialist at Cator, Ruma & Associates, Co.
We are seeking an experienced BIM Specialist with 2-5 years of work experience using Autodesk Revit. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the construction industry with a strong background in Revit. This is an in-person position with the option to be remote up to 2 days per week.
Typical Responsibilities:
Revit Model setups for MEPT disciplines
BIM 360 setup and support
Project/model follow-up, ability to troubleshoot questions and issues
Identify office wide training needs
Ability to support projects with modeling as needed
Supports BIM Coordinator with the following:
Autodesk & Design tool software installs and updates
Assess current Revit/AutoCAD processes for improvement
Plan and organize all process change rollouts
Revit Training
New hire evaluation and mentorship
Learn functions of all MEPT families and be able to troubleshoot, train and make recommendations
Create and update production documentation
Point of contact as the BIM lead for external clients
The ideal candidate must have:
Experience troubleshooting Revit questions and project issues
Experience with Revit family creation
Experience with Dynamo or Addins
Written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work and coordinate multiple projects at once.
Computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
Effective communication skills and great attitude are a MUST.
