We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. Your friendly and customer-focused approach will ensure an exceptional experience for every guest.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness of products
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner
- Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred
- Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
