Housekeeper

Catskill Mountain Foundation’s Housekeeping staff is responsible for performing cleaning and upkeep of our properties which include; Air B&B’s, Theaters, Art Centers, Office Buildings, and more.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

~ Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and
arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging
the rooms after guests check out

~ Report general and emergency repairs to facilities maintenance.

~ Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy
issues

~ Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms/Air B&B’s while rendering
service

~ Report cases of property damage in spaces to supervisor

~ Ability to work within a team environment

~ Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift

~ Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests

~ Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies

~ Collect and remove trash and debris

~ Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing and sorting linen

~ Clean upholstered furniture when necessary

~ Perform detailed deep cleans when required

~ Any additional cleaning duties the Housekeeping Supervisor requests.

REQUIRED SKILL / ABILITIES:

~ Be reliable, with eye for detail.

~ Good communication

~ Ability and willingness to take direction with follow through.

~ Ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks while maintaining a positive
attitude.

~ Preferred familiarity with procedures and techniques used in the Housekeeping
process but willing to train

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

~ High School Diploma or equivalent

~ Related experience preferred

~ Clean New York State Driver's license/Company transportation supplied while working

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
