Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including the development and performance management of managers and employee. In addition, you’ll make sure that all guests consistently receive an excellent dining experience through a timely, quality food preparation, and service
As a General Manager, you’ll oversee our service, kitchen and bar managers, as well as be accountable for keeping accurate inventories and ensuring food, alcohol & labor costs and all expenses are within the restaurant budget
Manage all areas of the restaurant, assuming all accountability for the operation
Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utilities and labor costs.
Ensure that all financial and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
Manage daily operation to meet the food and beverage budget; troubleshoot to resolve excessive costs if budget is exceeded.
Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen, bar and dining areas.
Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
Direct hiring, supervision, development and, when necessary, termination of employees
Develop engagement and positive morale throughout the team by providing high energy, timely communication, and ongoing feedback regarding performance
