Accounts Payable Technician

CA Ventures is looking for an Accounts Payable Technician to join our growing Accounts Payable Team! The AP Technician is responsible for providing accounting, technical, and clerical support to Accounting personnel. The position is responsible for direct oversight of a specific accounting program or system and fulfills support functions which may include: ensuring proper invoice coding, adherence to workflow, timely payments of vendor invoices, and maintain accurate records.   Your Mission: Provides support to Accountants, Accounting Managers, and operations team members as needed Perform the duties of other AP Technicians (in their absence) or perform other job related duties, as requested Completes team functions as defined by the department manager including, but not limited to, processing payment disbursements, voiding payables or checks, or completing special projects as assigned. Research, tracks, and resolves problems or inquiries using effective communication. Supports and enforces policies, internal controls, and ethical standards established by the department and company, and apply quality measures within all areas of responsibility to support the company’s purpose and core values. Act as a liaison between the company, government, and accountants as needed Provide subject matter expertise in all areas of Accounts Payable, including Yardi and SolarWinds   Your Track Record: High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or vocational school is required Completion or active pursuit of an Associate’s Degree or other comparable business-related discipline is preferred 0-2 years of experience, preferred Accounts Payable experience Yardi experience preferred, as well as 1099 filing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel   Your Style Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities at the same time Team-player who thrives in collaborative environment Ability to also work independently and autonomously
