Job Posting for Commercial Services Manager/GM at CAWS, LLC
Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail business, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive RFQ Package and Create a Proposal Folder in One Drive.
2. Perform Estimating Duties per labor workbooks etc.
3. Build a very high level schedule to proof up project durations (do not want to waste time at this stage)
4. Perform Bid review upon compilation of estimate, and before submittal.
5. Submit Proposal
6. Clean up Proposal Folder with pertinent information, and dumping historical documents.
7. Issue Job number
8. Ensure the Proposal Folder are cleaned, and everything is clear, transfer to “Jobs” Folder on One Drive
9. Track Back log.
10. Issue a win email notifying Ops, Commercial Services, Accounting a
11. Perform a Post Award briefing with Operations
12. Gather Documents per the Client VDR and submit Documents for approval
13. Reach out to Subs/vendors and verify that their proposal and numbers are still good/ depending on the time frame of the award.
14. If there are pricing changes, issue FCO for additional cost for subs and materials
15. Issue PO’s to Vendors and Subs
16. Review/ Rework the high-level schedule and detail it to an “Executable State” pending client requirements/ contract prefer the time for this to be billable or covered under the projects budget
17. Populate back log sheet on box with manpower hiring initial plan that P6 schedule is showing, Log Job number, populate how many of each of the support departments are needed, budgeted estimate, start dates and durations.
18. Perform Schedule review with Ops and preferably the PM that will be onsite.
19. Assist as needed to support the project, historical data accumulated through the estimation process, additional vendor contacts etc.
20. Monitor PO and FCO logs through duration of the project.
21. Assist PM with any scheduling assistance if we don’t have a scheduler onsite.
22. Assist PM with FCO’s/ Rfi’s, and Material Requisitions etc., Depending on Staff Onsite
23. Maintain Contact with PM and Cost Engineer to set up for Job Close Out
24. Assist the PM to Track budgeted estimate vs actuals for venders and subcontractors.
25. Assist with final billing.
26. Send out Job Completion notice.
27. Track Profit margins per job.
28. Initiate MSA reviews with Lawyer or whoever is set up to review.
29. Oversee front office Staff.
