What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Processor position at Cazle Mortgage, Inc?
Candidate will be responsible for the entire end-to-end mortgage loan process. They will gather and process all loan documentation and ensure compliance with policy, regulatory, and loan terms.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review all loans for completeness, accuracy, and compliant (TRID, REG B, HOEPA etc)
- Demonstrate and encourage integrity and alignment with company vision, mission and core values.
- Order and follow up on all 3rd party requests, vendor reports, customer documents / data ; including but not limited to: tax transcripts, appraisal reports, verifications of employment, case number, title work
- Prompt and accurate review of files averaging no more than 4 new submission & 4 sets of conditions per day (i.e. 40 in a 20 work day month).
- Average Pipeline: 45-50 loans per month / per processor
- Average Closing: 25-30 loans per month / per processor.
- Update data in LOS to ensure data integrity; Always make notes in LOS where designated.
- Complete required fields, documents, tasks and milestones as required in a timely and accurate manner.
- Order and follow-up on customer documents, vendor reports and other internal quality control items such as tax transcripts, appraisal conditions, verifications of employment, case number assignments to provide a complete and quality loan file to department partners.
- Monitor pipeline to ensure timely and compliant file flow based on current SLA's “Service Level Agreements” and metric.
- Ability to meet deadlines, schedules and budget restraints.
- Maintain Service Level Agreements set by management / Monitor pipeline & email constantly through the day.
- Able to work overtime as business necessitates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with mortgage loan processing
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans
- Knowledge of Encompass or Datatrac is preferred but not required.
- Self-starter with initiative to use resources to problem solve, attention to detail, handles multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Computer skill required; includes working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.

- Review loan applications and ensure all required documents are complete and accurate
- Verify applicant information, including employment, income, and credit history
- Calculate debt-to-income ratios and determine loan eligibility
- Prepare loan files for underwriting and submit to appropriate departments for approval
- Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and other parties involved in the loan process to gather necessary information and resolve any issues
- Coordinate with escrow companies, title officers, and other third parties to ensure a smooth closing process
- Maintain confidentiality of borrower information and adhere to all applicable privacy laws and regulations
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a Loan Processor or similar role in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of loan origination processes and procedures
- Familiarity with escrow, credit analysis, and basic math calculations
- Proficiency in 10-key typing and data entry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and analyze documents
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of FNMA guidelines and regulations is a plus
