As the IT Manager you will be responsible for the overall IT support and management of an enterprise IT infrastructure environment. This individuals' principal goals are to manage a team of customer support engineers in who are responsible for the day-to-day support and engineering activities, infrastructures, client hardware and software, account management and controls in attainment of service level agreements across the department. This leaders focus will be to deliver outstanding technology support to our end users in support of the organizations overall business objectives
Responsibilities:
- Build and implement IT best practices, policies, and regulations for the IT Infrastructure team.
- Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks.
- Manage a team of engineers to deliver the overall support and management of an enterprise infrastructure environment.
- Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure.
- Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance.
- Ensure backup and patching process are followed by the team for cybersecurity protections.
- Establish measure and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap, in collaboration with organizational leadership
- Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with Application teams to plan and implement required infrastructure to support applications while ensuring a cohesive delivery.
- Direct the activities of the support team to ensure IT needs of users are met.
- Oversee the ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.
- Measure and oversee SLA attainment across the team.
- Ensure coverage on the team by overseeing scheduling and managing call outs.
- Communicate with c-level executives on status, reporting, updates, and progress.
- Lead the ongoing strategy of the IT team to complete service requests and project work on time and within budget.
- Act as an escalation and communication point for the team.
- Monitor KPI’s and metrics and prepare reports.
- Identify and direct IT project implementations
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT management.
- Experience with Global Manufacturing Execution Systems preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Industry expertise with enterprise infrastructure solution development.
- Strong teamwork
- Experience with desktop hardware and software
- Experience with network administration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Microsoft Office and Office 365 experience

Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, computer science, or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.
