Full-Time Bergen Community Liaison to Law Enforcement
Responsibilities
- Establishes a professional relationship with law enforcement officers.
- Provides support call for citizens law enforcement has had contact with and may need services.
- Provides linkage referrals, as needed.
- Completes documentation in a timely fashion and is consistent with Agency policy.
- Makes follow up calls to inquire if any further assistance is needed.
- Educates law enforcement officers regarding symptoms of mental illnesses, the mental health system and and services available.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work or Psychology
- At least three years direct care experience in mental health (community mental health preferred).
- Valid NJ Drivers License
Shift
Monday through Thursday, 10am-6pm, Friday 9am-4pm
