Claire’s - A Career that’s always in style Global B&M New Store Coordinator About the Role • You will be a space planning expert with demonstrable experience of providing new store/remodel/repositions/relocation roll out materials which satisfy both customer shopping needs and are operationally efficient. • Supporting the field with fixture and model variations with planogram materials. • Manage New Store/Remodel/Reposition/Relocation roll out timelines and calendars as they apply to ISP and rollout needs This includes creating and maintaining an opening calendar with all deadlines that relate to the ISP role of the New Store/Remodel/Reposition/Relocation process. • Create floor plans to support New Store/Remodel/Reposition/Remodels, distribute ISP materials, work cross functionally with ISP, Communications, and Concessions. Maintaining a strong working relationship across Construction, Store Operations, and Buying/Allocations. • Work closely with Manager and provide insight to Construction, Operations, and Buying/Allocation to ensure support. • Actively and confidently identify any decision considered counter to customer mission, shopping logic or operational efficiency during your task execution. • Photograph and edit images related to model variation planogram documents • Share best practice for the benefit of the business as a whole • Make regular visits to our stores, to ensure the reality matches the plan • Conduct regular competitor visits to help you maintain your already developed understanding of changes in the industry • Other duties and responsibilities as they arise and/or are assigned to best support company and team initiatives About You • High School Diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 2 years retail experience required • 2 years of visual merchandising experience, preferably in a major retail chain • Experience with new store openings, preferably with experience manipulating planograms to differing store layouts • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent PC Skills with proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office • Excellent MS Excel skills will be a plus, as will good knowledge of PowerPoint. • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment • A flexible approach to the working environment and able to demonstrate the ability to respond to a fast moving, rapidly changing market and business. • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy • Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency Claire's is an equal opportunity employer with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
