Role Summary:
The Field Operations Manager is responsible for aligning to the financial strategy of the business, building a team to accomplish the financial mission, as well as leading and overseeing the processes to execute the business. The FOM owns the responsibility of overseeing and directing the work of all Field Operations personnel, monitoring their work, and taking corrective action when necessary. The FOM is also responsible for the day-to-day activities of the installation personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and interviewing
- Ensuring that CBI is providing the highest quality of service
- Managing / Ensuring subcontractors performance on day-to-day projects
- Validating Subcontractors
- Ensuring that all subcontractors are certified and have completed necessary documentation before starting a project
- Ensuring / assigning proper staffing with Subcontractor labor
- Making sure the subcontractors are trained in the different product lines
- Participate in Vendor Management Quarterly reviews
- Participate / Lead product training course
- Ensuring all RFP projects have been submitted to subcontractors for pricing in a timely manner
- Maintain RFP tracker
- Ensuring the most cost-effective pricing for the use of subcontractors on projects
- Effectively complete and submit Subcontractor POs
- Ensure subcontractor has PO before project start
- Issuing surveys on a timely manner
- Review Backlog regularly to determine staffing needs
- Proficiency with the iPad and the BIM360 program
- Master at creating BIM360 Projects with proper folder structure and information
- Ensure delivery tickets and necessary project information is uploaded accurately in BIM360
- Ensuring that BIM360 projects are reviewed before and after the project
- Ensuring that BIM360 projects are closed in timely manner
- Liaison between DPMs, WPC, and FO team
- Ensuring that all installation personnel are trained on new product developments
- Participate in Client presentations and RFP review
- Review and approve installation pricing for projects and subcontractors
- Perform daily site visits to ensure associates performance
- Manage and Approve time sheets
- Maintain installation master schedule
- Effectively communicate with co-workers, subcontractors and management
- Establish and maintain positive and working relationship between FO and DPMs/WPC
