CCC is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Compliance team!
The Administrative Assistant supports the Compliance Team and LCA Department. They work on specialized projects, perform data entry, and act as a backup for other administrative personnel when necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform administrative services for the department as assigned.
- Perform routine data entry of highly technical information: perform research both within the company and with external individuals to access and verify needed information, ensure that information is correctly entered and communicated to team members, and perform continuous self-assessment of work to catch and correct errors.
- Communicate regularly and persuasively with a wide range of company staff to collect needed information, ensure action items are completed, and advance ongoing projects.
- Complete a variety of computer-based tasks related to documentation in the appropriate format. Examples include but are not limited to: meeting minutes and agendas; data entry; creating charts, graphs, and reports.
- Review, route, and process documents related to licensing and legal matters.
- Assist other staff with scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Work on special projects, including researching topics as assigned and reporting within the team on findings.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners' and outside providers’ patient confidentiality agreements, including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediate reporting of any PHI breach of CCC or outside provider health records to the CCC Legal and Quality departments and the program administrator.
- Attend required meetings and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- GED or High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One year of administrative support experience is required.
- Skilled with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel, including creating graphs, tables, and reports.
- JIRA software experience preferred.
- Must adhere to the agency’s non-discrimination policies.
