We are looking for a qualified, self-motivated Diesel Mechanic in the Seattle-Tacoma, Washington area to join a reputable, growing mobile servicing company.
Responsibilities
- DOT inspections.
- Battery replacement and wiring.
- Radiator replacement.
- Hydraulic repair.
- General diagnostics and repair.
- PM services, LOF.
- Brake repair and replacement drums, shoes, air, pads, etc.
- Submit and complete technical reports and documentation.
- Troubleshoot fault codes and check engine lights as well as installation of engine, transmissions, and other components.
Qualifications
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of DOT compliance requirements for equipment.
- Ability to work in a high volume, high output environment.
- Strong electronic skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- MUST have own hand tools.
- Be able to diagnose, disassemble, clean and inspect engines.
- Be able to diagnose, disassemble, clean, overhaul, repair, rebuild systems, including: suspension, electrical, braking, fuel, cooling, steering, emission and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to operate a computer and diagnostic equipment.
- Able to sit, stand, kneel, bend over, crouch, walk, lift, and reach for a full day.
- Able to see a computer screen from a reasonable distance.
Education Experience
- 5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- PREFERRED: 2 year technical school for Diesel Mechanics.
- PREFERRED: ASE certification.
- PREFERRED: Certifications on Cummins and Detroit engines.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
