- Ensures a safe work environment.
- Purchases, stores, and issues parts for motor vehicles and heavy equipment by performing the following duties:
- Obtains description of items needed from mechanic
- Reads parts manuals to ascertain type and specification of part
- Processes requisitions and submits to purchasing
- Compares invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
- Stores purchased parts in storeroom bins and issues parts to workers upon request
- Records data associated with parts received and issued in fleet focus system; inventories parts in storeroom periodically
- Other duties as assigned.

- Valid driver's license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years' experience with auto/heavy equipment parts or warehousing
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and processes
- Basic knowledge of MS office products

- MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
- HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
- VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
- LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 70 pounds for 20 feet.
- RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE
