We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst is to interface with business users, product owners, and IT development in order to proactively create and maintain solutions for business needs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
- Participate in identifying and executing improved training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Build and maintain a strong rapport with business users and product owners to develop stories and mockups for new features.
- Interface with business users and developers to determine the best course of action including a thorough consideration of the impact to other groups.
- Collaborate and team with coworkers, partners, technologies, and customers in all areas of responsibilities to develop and implement the best solutions.
- Participate in requirements gathering for assigned internal and third-party systems.
- Participate in business process improvement and execution of process improvement solutions.
- Serve as a training and demonstration resource to business users for assigned systems
- Ensure confidentiality of company information.
- Must work well with others. Interaction including but not limited to peers, all levels of management, project coordinators, customers, vendors, etc. will take place daily.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Business Analyst Manager.
Qualifications we are looking for
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Business Management or relevant work experience required.
- Results-driven, service-focused mindset with 1-3 years of experience in business and/or data analysis, and/or in a process/continuous improvement setting or equivalent field strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.
- Excellent professional communication both written and verbal.
- Must be team oriented, positive, upbeat, and willing and able to work with many personalities to achieve departmental goals.
- Must be able to sit, use a computer, mouse, keyboard, and headset for extended periods of time
- Visio experience preferred
- Process/continuous improvement experience preferred.
Shift is full-time, 40 hours per week minimum, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CST. Must be flexible, and willing and able to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
