We are seeking a Training Specialist to enhance the onboarding and key competencies of Design & Engineering employees by conducting training programs. The ideal candidate will have experience leading training sessions, creating curriculum, and will possess patience and understanding. Responsibilities
- Lead remote style, group, and one-on-one training sessions to help employees cultivate their skills and knowledge.
- Employ a positive attitude, “can-do” mindset and keep “fun” in every training session.
- Knowledgeable of various telecommunication design software platforms.
- Knowledge of design theory and automated QC routines.
- Follow established schedule and maintain tracking and appropriate records.
- Be a point of contact to employees to redirect follow up questions or needs in relation to training, maintain accountability in a helpful and positive way.
- Collaborate with other trainers to create specialized training.
- Continuous learning of changing industry trends and advancements.
- Stay up-to-date and utilize new training techniques.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Technical Training Manager.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in CATV design and drafting or related field.
- 2- or 4-year degree in Education, Engineering, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Hands on experience with one or more of the following software(s): AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SpatialNET, LODE Data, Bentley v8i, Magellan, Schneider Electric, CrescentLink, ArcFM, and/or other ESRI related products preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
- A minimum of one year of experience teaching or training is preferred.
- Must have a positive attitude, be exceptionally patient, have a service mindset, and ability to work very well with a diverse group of people.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Innovative, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time and expectations.
- Must be able to take direction and work independently, during class and prep week.

Shift is full-time, 40 hours per week minimum, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm CST. Must be flexible, and willing and able to work outside normal business hours as necessary.
