We are seeking
a Training Specialist to enhance the onboarding and key competencies of Design & Engineering employees by conducting training programs. The ideal candidate will have experience leading training sessions, creating curriculum, and will possess patience and understanding. Responsibilities

  • Lead remote style, group, and one-on-one training sessions to help employees cultivate their skills and knowledge.
  • Employ a positive attitude, “can-do” mindset and keep “fun” in every training session.
  • Knowledgeable of various telecommunication design software platforms.
  • Knowledge of design theory and automated QC routines.
  • Follow established schedule and maintain tracking and appropriate records.
  • Be a point of contact to employees to redirect follow up questions or needs in relation to training, maintain accountability in a helpful and positive way.
  • Collaborate with other trainers to create specialized training.
  • Continuous learning of changing industry trends and advancements.
  • Stay up-to-date and utilize new training techniques.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Technical Training Manager.


Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of experience in CATV design and drafting or related field.
  • 2- or 4-year degree in Education, Engineering, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Hands on experience with one or more of the following software(s): AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SpatialNET, LODE Data, Bentley v8i, Magellan, Schneider Electric, CrescentLink, ArcFM, and/or other ESRI related products preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
  • A minimum of one year of experience teaching or training is preferred.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be exceptionally patient, have a service mindset, and ability to work very well with a diverse group of people.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Innovative, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and expectations.
  • Must be able to take direction and work independently, during class and prep week.
  • Teamwork and ability to accept increasing responsibility is a must.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and accept increased responsibility.
  • The ability to embrace corporate values, understand the company vision, and exemplify CCI leadership behaviors


Shift
is full-time, 40 hours per week minimum, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm CST. Must be flexible, and willing and able to work outside normal business hours as necessary.


Additional Information

  • Pre-employment screenings, including reliable Internet connection test, background check, and drug test required.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
