What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Laborer position at CCI?

Essential Functions
The Shop Laborer is an entry level position responsible for various functions in support to the Shop Manager. These duties include but are not limited to:
- Fixing any tool that is currently or returned broken.
- Cleaning any tool that is currently in the shop or returned.
- Monitoring the system that is in place to check out tools.
- Driving to different job sites to make deliveries as well as picking up any items that are needed throughout the day.
- Making sure the shop is always clean and presentable.
Qualifications
The Shop Laborer must enjoy working as a team and any experience with construction or construction equipment is preferred. Must be able to work independently once direction on a task is provided. The best candidate will have a driving medical card or the capability to receive the medical card which will be required for this position. As well as a CDL. Knowledge of Microsoft programs and construction software is also preferred. This position requires strong written and spoken communication skills, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent.
