Job Description:
As a Seygen Order Management Specialist with API integration expertise, resources will play a pivotal role in optimizing our order management processes by leveraging Seygen Order Management software and integrating it with various systems using APIs. He will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless API integrations to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of order processing and fulfilment.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- API Integration Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design efficient API integrations between Seygen Order Management software and other systems, such as CRM, e-commerce platforms, and logistics providers.
- API Implementation: Develop and implement robust API solutions, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and security. Configure API endpoints, authentication mechanisms, error handling, and data mapping to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
- System Configuration and Customization: Configure Seygen Order Management software to optimize order workflows, automate tasks, and accommodate specific business rules and requirements. Customize the software as needed to align with business processes and enhance usability.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for API integrations, resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions to order processing operations. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address integration-related challenges effectively.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance and reliability of API integrations, proactively identifying and addressing any performance bottlenecks, latency issues, or data synchronization issues. Implement optimizations to improve efficiency and scalability as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in software development, API integration, and system integration projects.
Strong expertise in API design, development, and implementation, with proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other relevant technologies.
Experience working with Seygen Order Management software or similar order management systems is highly desirable.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with web services, data formats, and authentication methods (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
