The Aquatic Maintenance Associate helps to keep all bodies of water in the community, both large and small, running smoothly. They assist with the daily and weekly maintenance of the aquatic facilities and are an important factor in providing an amazing resident experience!
What you’ll accomplish:
- Assisting with the maintenance all community aquatic facilities through routine system upkeep and equipment repairs
- Troubleshooting emergency repair of commercial and industrial pool equipment
- Maintaining water chemistry levels conducive to safe and enjoyable water play
- Identify parts, equipment, material, and supply needs
- Performing a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks
- Operating pool equipment according to standard procedures and manufacturer recommendations
- Cleaning aquatic structures by brushing, skimming, vacuuming, backwashing, water testing, and administering chemicals
- Upholding cleanliness and safety standards of surrounding areas including decks, beaches, and boardwalks where applicable
- Utilizing standard to specialized tools, materials and other equipment related to; changing filters, balancing water flow, maintaining pumps, repairing / replacing valves, pipes, motors and other items as needed.
- Maintaining bar screens, industrial compressors, clarifier units, UV systems, Ozone systems and other units required in water treatment
- Extending top-notch service to residents and guests
What we’re looking for:
- Experience maintaining a public / commercial swimming pool
- Working knowledge of plumbing, pumps, electrical, and / or aquatics maintenance
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, follow plans, and maintain records
- Extensive knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and water mechanical operations
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends as needed
- Experience with O-Zone and UV systems preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Salary : $31,900 - $40,300
