CCMSI is investing in APIs as the way of the future and we are growing our team to drive our API strategy forward for both world class external and internal platform capabilities.

 

The Service Developer will work closely with the development team and business analysts to implement new API’s and enhance existing API’s for a large and complex portfolio of insurance applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, validate, and deliver high quality API’s for large scale systems.
  • Understand and implement industry aligned security standards such as OAUTH and JWT and work with Enterprise Architecture to define shared solutions for broad consumption. 
  • Develop API’s using .NET, Azure API management, Azure AD, and Azure SQL.
  • Develop and package reusable enterprise framework components.
  • Work across IT teams to ensure code quality, performance and scalability of deployed products.
  • Participate in and/or conduct reviews (e.g. enterprise integration, solution design, security, code, etc.)
  • Review and evaluate application requirements (business, functional, and technical).

  • Individual must be detail oriented and a self-starter with strong organizational abilities.

  • Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.

Computer Skills:

  • .NET framework / Web Services (2-5 years experience)
  • C#
  • Visual Studio / Integrated Development Environment
  • Relational Databases (2-5 years experience)
  • Nuget
  • IDE
  • Azure experience /API knowledge
  • Swagger
  • Version Control tools (Git/Github)

Education and/or Experience  

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with RESTful Services
  • Experience implementing solutions with design patters.
  • 2-5 years creating enterprise API’s

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Professional designations/certifications preferred
